Just arrived at the Gallery. An original John Bratby Oil on Canvas: A Portrait of James Cossins

This oil on canvas by John Bratby R.A. (1928-1992) is very typical of his style in painting during the 1950’s and 1960’s. This painting is  a portrait of English character actor James Cossins (1933-1997) known for his television and cinema appearances in Fawlty Towers, The Good Life, The Man with the Golden Gun and Gandhi amongst others.
